Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer - or as I like to call her, the wicked witch of the north - and her husband both have this idea that they are above the law.
Gov. Whitmer puts in place these idiotic rules for the shutdown that are so arbitrary and make zero sense, then she and her husband ignore them for themselves.
They tell people not to travel to their vacation homes, then they go to theirs. They ban motorboats in the water, but then try to get their motorboat put in the water during the ban.
An employee of North Shore Dock, in northern Michigan, which is a company that provides boat and dock services shared an interesting story about a phone call the North Shore Dock company received.
The call came from Gov. Whitmer’s husband, Dr. Mark Mallory, who wanted to bypass the wait to get his boat. Have a read.
So today put a smile on my face, as most of your know we install docks, store boats etc. This morning I was out working when the office called me, there was a gentleman on hold who wanted his boat in the water before the weekend. Being memorial weekend and the fact that we started working 3 weeks late means there is no chance this is going to happen.
Well, our office personnel had explained this to the man and he replied: “I am the husband to the governor, will this make a difference?”
As you can imagine, that does make a difference, that would put you at the back of the line!!! Needless to say, our Governor and her husband will not be getting their boat for memorial day.
Too good not to share, I love it when karma comes around, even in small doses.
This was all actually confirmed when the North Shore Dock put out a statement that admitted Gov. Whitmer's husband did call them and request his boat be put in the water. They refused to give him and preferential treatment and said, "ALL of our customers are valued, and we cannot place you in front of others who scheduled earlier.”
