Convicted Murderer Turned Activist Proposes HORRIBLE Plan to Stop Crime

Tyree Moorehead, who bragged about shooting around 20 people as a teen, was convicted of murder at just 15.

However, a violent background and time to repent haven't helped to put things in perspective. In fact, he recently proposed that the city of Baltimore should just pay criminals to not kill people.

He told Fox 45 that he could relate to these criminals, as they wanted money. He also went on to say that he has talked to these shooters, seen them, and that he knows who they are - even referring to them as simply "hustlers".

While we all "want money" for one thing or another, most people don't resort to murder.

TJ Smith (the Baltimore Police spokesman), gave credence to the desperation some people feel they face, but said that he disagreed with paying criminals not to kill people, as that would give them more money to buy more weapons.

Fox Baltimore reported,

Tyree Moorehead has spent years in Baltimore’s streets.

If you don’t know his name, drive through the city and you’ll see his mark.

No shoot zones, the sidewalk, streetside sacred space where, after murder, there should be no more killing there.

He recognizes even that hasn’t slowed Baltimore's bloodshed and now he eyes what he believes is a breakthrough.

"I can relate to the shooters, guess what they want? They want money.

His idea, pay killers to stop killing, his background he says is part of the currency.

Moorehead spent 18 years in prison for second-degree murder at 15, he believes he's the person who can deliver that change so many organizations doing good work in Baltimore haven't been able to do.

"I've talked to these people, I've seen the shooters, it’s a small city, I know who the hustlers are.

"It speaks to the desperation that we all have," said former Baltimore Police spokesman T.J. Smith.

Perhaps not strong opposition, but a polite 'no', all the same.

Rewarding criminals for bad behavior will not fix crime rates any more than rewarding a fussy child with ice cream fixes fits.
