Her Words About Men & Battle With Conservative Cause A Firestorm That Went Viral

The golf world got a bit more attention than they would have liked recently after one of golf's biggest influencers got into a tiff with a conservative author.

Paige Spiranac, who has 3.7 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok, had some comments for men after she got into a tiff with conservative author Nick Adams.

"Can’t there be a par 3 course set aside for the slow female golfers so they don’t clog up the championship courses on the weekends? There’s no reason women should be allowed to slow down the pace of play on a beautiful Saturday like today!" Adams wrote on social media.

According to Adams a group of women golfers was holding up his golf game.

"Nick is the type of golfer who tees off from the tips but can’t hit is more than 220. He’ll wait for par 5s in two when he’s 310 out. Say 'hit it sally' when someone in group leaves a putt short. And thinks he has a shot with the cart girl," Spiranac jokingly responded.

That comment sent some online trolls after her; however, she had some advice for those attacking her.

The dust-up that ended up going viral on Fox News was in good fun. Spiranac later joked about the online tiff.

Spiranac played golf for the University of Arizona and San Diego State, winning the All-Mountain West Conference in 2012-2013 and in 2013-2014.

The golfer influencer won her first event in 2016 at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic in 2015 and won the Cactus Tour event in 2016.

However, she failed to make the LPGA Tour and retired.
