Elon Musk’s bid to takeover Twitter was borne out of his strong sense as a “free speech absolutist”. Musk decided to make a play for the social media platform because he felt like Twitter purposefully censored conservatives and conservative ideas.
It turns out the richest man in the world was right. Project Veritas sent an undercover journalist to question a Twitter engineer. Senior Engineer Siru Murugesan was caught making the following three individual statements.
The statements are supported by actual video footage of Murugesan making them. This is exactly what a Twitter senior engineer said about the platform. First, Murugesan said, “Twitter does not believe in free speech. Elon believes in free speech.”
The high-ranking Twitter employee further explained by saying, “Our jobs are at stake. He’s a capitalist, and we weren’t really operating as capitalists, more like very socialist. Like we’re all like, commie as f***.”
Finally, Murugesan said what everyone had suspected. From the moment Musk’s bid was accepted, angry Twitter geeks have been revolting. “We did all we could to, like revolt against it. A lot of employees were revolting against it.”
Nevertheless, one key question revealed the true values of the “old Twitter”. When Murugesan was questioned about Twitter’s definition of free speech compared to that of the new owner, he left no room for doubt. Murugesan said emphatically, “Twitter does not believe in free speech.”
Clearly, what millions thought to be true turned out to be exactly that. Twitter “was” a radical tool used by the liberal left. Those who Twitter hired on were in line with a Marxist, anti-free speech ideology. Oh, but how things can change. Sorry, Twitter geeks, but there’s a new sheriff in town.
Maybe disgruntled ex-Twitter employees can petition fellow commie Mark Zuckerberg for a Facebook job. They could work for the other liberal-manipulated social media outlet. It would be nice if a “free speech believer” made a bid for Facebook. The liberals would come unglued!
