Is Liz Cheney an undercover Democrat posing as a Republican or is she more intent on demonizing Donald Trump? It's a valid question, really.
Cheney is counting down the minutes before the Wyoming primary, where she will almost certainly lose to Trump-backed opponent Harriet Hageman. She is currently 30 points behind Hageman.
But if you needed more reason to believe that Cheney's political career as a Republican is over, take a look at this. When she's out of Congress, I'd bet you that she becomes a correspondent on CNN or MSNBC.
According to rumors, Philip Perry, Cheney's spouse, is a partner in a law firm that represents...wait for it...Hunter Biden in a grand jury investigation by the Department of Justice.
U.S. prosecutor David Weiss, who was appointed by Trump, is looking into Biden's son for tax-related offenses and lying to the police about buying a gun illegally.
According to his corporate description, Chris Clark, a partner of Cheney's husband, is representing Hunter in the "grand jury investigation regarding tax issues."
According to Cheney's 2020 Personal Financial Disclosure, Perry owns an interest in the company worth between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
Is this a case of "If it looks like a duck, it probably is a duck"?
Additionally, Perry's business has completed a significant amount of work for a Chinese Communist Party-affiliated technology company. The company is named TME and Exelon Corporation. The State Department alleged that TME is a Chinese government tool in 2019.
In 2011, Exelon Corporation also agreed to provide consulting and training services to a division of the publicly traded China National Nuclear Corporation, according to the Wall Street Journal.
For a moment, pretend Eric Trump had just been involved in a small portion of what it appears Hunter has been. Let's flip that around: imagine if Eric had committed just 1% of the crimes that Hunter is suspected of committing.
And now we find out that Hunter's defense team includes Cheney's husband. It's just crazy.
There has been talk for a while about Democrats posing as Republicans and I can tell you that this is one of those instances. Liz Cheney is DEFINITELY a Democrat in elephant's clothing.
